The Digital Technology (DT) Asset Information Specialist supports IT asset information activities for DT software. The specialist is an individual contributor, who focuses on asset inventory operations and is responsible for executing to the overall direction for Digital Software Asset Information Management and Compliance.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Assists with collecting software asset data from DT asset receipt through disposition.
Helps run and publish reports on asset information.
Assists with auditing the integrity of maintained asset data and producing findings
Assists with defining processes and governance
Assists with monitoring and supporting audits
Assists with defining reporting requirements
Recommend cost optimization opportunities
Identifies, communicates, and assists with the facilitation of the remediation of data inaccuracies or conflicts.
Collaborates effectively to successfully execute on the asset information management strategy.
Helps produce supporting documentation for DT software asset information requests.
Helps define DT software asset processes and activities in support of asset information management requirements.
Builds relationships within business and functional areas.
Participates in special projects as needed to mitigate risks or realize opportunities.
Assists subject matter experts on DT software asset inventory operations and contributes advice to other stakeholders when needed.
Keeps abreast of new tools, techniques and industry best practices and works to incorporate them in the organization when possible.
Enables the monitoring and reporting of software asset information to appropriate leadership.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM); OR minimum of 8 years’ of relevant professional experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree
Experience in tracking software asset data from receipt to disposition
Experience working with large data sets and disparate systems
Experience in data analytics and data management with ability to interpret data and identify and pursue mitigation of data inconsistencies
Experience in Software Licensing models and industry best practices for efficient software lifecycle management
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Demonstrated effectiveness in supporting IT asset information management requirements
