Raytheon Technologies MALD Sustainment Program Integrator (Manager III) in Tucson, Arizona
Raytheon Missiles & Defense is seeking a Program Integrator.
The Program Integrator (PI) is a direct report to the Program Management Excellence (PMX) Directorate and matrixed to the Miniature Air Launched Decoy Sustainment Program Manager. This position will support the MALD® Sustainment Program. The MALD® decoy is a flexible and modular system that has the potential to keep aviators and aircraft out of harm’s way. It's an expendable air-launched flight vehicle that looks like a U.S. or allied aircraft to enemy integrated air defense systems, or IADS.
The Program Integrator (PI) is responsible for direct engagement with the program team and functional partners, in pursuit of day to day program execution; advocating Program Management (PM) plans, processes, and business objectives; the implementation of PM best practices
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Sets program strategy, vision and tactical direction for program execution by multi-functional team(s) and sub-contractors.
In the absence of PM, is responsible for meeting contractual commitments including financial, technical, and schedule performance of assigned program(s) within contractual boundaries and company expectations.
Develops program enhancing partnerships with internal functional organizations; such as contracts, finance, procurement, manufacturing, quality control, logistics, and administrative functions.
Acts on behalf of the PM, convey to customer, program status and performance. Additionally, anticipates and fulfills customer needs to ensure their satisfaction and continued business.
Develops and presents to senior management the program Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and long term financial outlook.
Responsible for committing the program to specific financial goals and obligations in accordance with the program AOP.
Sets budgetary guidelines and directs the performance of program task elements through internal functional partnership.
Establishes standards and an executable program baseline using the approved business model and management tools.
Manages the program risk and opportunity, in accordance with specific financial goals and obligations.
Execute daily program cadence i.e., risk review boards, customer reviews, failure review boards, program milestones, and decision reviews to achieve contract commitments
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure integrated master schedule aligns with program strategies, objectives, and milestones
Responsible for growing the program and its product(s) by ensuring ongoing customer funding of current contractual requirements, working with the customer to identify and fund further product enhancements
Capture staffing projections and work with Control Account Managers (CAMs) to meet program goals and timelines
Stay proficient in company policy and directive changes and any resulting implications that warrant change management facilitation
Ability to travel domestically/internationally
Qualifications You Must Have:
A minimum of 10 years of business, program, or project management professional experience
Experience using financial analysis tools and experience with project management tools and/or systems
Experience leading cross-functional teams in a manufacturing, operations, engineering, or Aerospace and Defense environment
Demonstrated experience in a role requiring responsibilities including balancing technical, cost, and schedule constraints to meet project deadlines and expectations
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Qualifications We Value:
Agile development industry certification and/or previous Agile training experience
Strong business acumen to proactively identify and resolve issues quickly and efficiently
Ability to operate independently to navigate organizational complexities and to obtain resources (through influence) to move initiatives forward
Raytheon Program Management certification Level 5 and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Ability to address multiple issues and set priorities
Experience in the Defense or Aerospace industry
Proposal capture experience
Working knowledge of contract formation and execution
Experience conducting international business
Demonstrated experience with Risk and Opportunity Management
Product lifecycle management experience
Earned Value Management certification
Proficiency with Program Management tool suite or similar systems
Experience with achieving alignment among key (internal and external) stakeholders
Strong Technical background coupled with ability to lead the integration of cost and schedule requirements to meet desired customer outcomes
