Raytheon Technologies Mgr, HR Partner in Tucson, Arizona

Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD) is seeking a proven, high performing, HR professional to fill an HR Generalist role in supporting a functional organization. In this dynamic and fast-paced role you will partner and collaborate with the HR Business Partner and business leaders to understand the business strategies and objectives while applying HR solutions in a proactive manner, consistent with the Human Resources vision and mission. The ability to execute project deliverables, exercise sound judgment and work collaboratively on multiple projects is critical in this role. The successful candidate should demonstrate an understanding of how HR can support business growth and performance. Preferred location of position is in Tewksbury, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities include:

Models employee advocacy behavior and serves as a trusted advisor to front line, mid-level and senior leaders and employees.

Serves as a partner focusing on brokering solutions to business problems.

Executes critical HR processes, including compensation, performance management and talent acquisition.

Develops actionable project plans that support business and HR strategies

Collaborates amongst other HR organizations such as Organizational Effectiveness (OE) and Global Talent Development (GTD) to achieve business and talent objectives.

Models consistent application of HR policies to mitigate risk and ensure equitable solutions.

Assists in the interview process, helps drive decisions and recommendations by partnering closely with TA and leaders

Communicates and implements proactive strategies pertaining to employee relations, training, leadership development, employee communications and diversity equity & inclusion in support of strategic objectives

Investigates and resolves employee relations issues and complaints; focuses on maintaining a positive employee relations environment and culture.

Ability to interpret labor and employment law principles and adhere to HR policies and procedures.

Ability to prioritize and drive multiple and diverse tasks to closure concurrently

Completes tasks that involve the development and manipulation of Excel spreadsheets, various HR tools, and analysis of that data

Required Skills:

  • 8 years applicable HR generalist experience or Master’s degree and 5+ years of applicable HR generalist experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or other related discipline

    Desired Skills:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

  • Experience with HR business applications and systems, such as Peoplesoft, Cognos, SPEED, Workday and applicant tracking, or similar database and query tools.

  • Ability to build effective working relationships with a broad range of styles at all levels in the organization

  • Strong organizational/follow-up skills

  • Ability to think logically and independently to comprehend complex issues and identify opportunities to add value and deliver effective solutions

  • Results orientation and a focus on meeting deadlines

  • Innovative, flexible and a strong change agent who seeks opportunities for improvement

  • Excellent analytical, trouble-shooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and demonstrated experience collaborating with multiple HR functional disciplines to develop solutions

  • Foundational competency in coaching and influence management skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written, oral and presentation
