This is an opportunity to join the Strategic Missile Defense (SMD) business are of the Strategic Sensor Systems (S3) Mission Area as a financial lead for the Radar Development Contract (RDC) program.

SMD designs, produces, and sustains radars including A/N TPY-2 and Sea Based X-Band Radar (SBX).

These are high visibility, critical programs for Raytheon Technologies and our customers.

You will be responsible for managing the financial performance of the RDC Antenna Equipment

(AEU) Refurbishment Task Order. This position requires proactive leadership and significant interaction and support with Program Area Directors, Program Managers, and customer representatives from finance and contracts teams to ensure alignment regarding strategy, operating and financial objectives. You will be a strategic business partner to various functional teams and works in collaboration on the successful execution of proposals, Gate reviews, contract negotiations, financial reporting, and EACs. You will also lead and manage a finance team of 1 to 2 finance professionals.

You must be able to work under deadlines and constraints as well as have the ability to multitask across a variety of Task Orders. This manager position requires the ability to provide top level program planning and control guidance as well as the ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of management.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Maintain the overall baseline that is compliant with the program instruction, internal EVM policy and 10255.

  • Support preparation of detailed cost CDRLs including Integrated Program Management Reports (IPMRs), Cost Performance Reports (CPRs), Contractor Funding Summary Report (CFSRs), Cost Data Summary Report (1921), and Functional Cost Hour Report (1921-1).

  • Coordinate development of quarterly Estimates at Complete. Budget Change Request (BCRs) coordination and implementation

  • Provide thorough cost and schedule analysis.

  • Prepare finance charts for Program Management Reviews, monthly operating reviews, financial overviews and other reporting activities as required.

  • Utilize and share knowledge of the RTN Earned Value Management system process 10255 policy within the program team.

  • Prepare manpower reports to support Strategic Missile Defense and Strategic Sensor Systems (S3) Mission Area level staffing demand reviews including working with cross function leads to identify gaps and plans to closure.

  • Support the monthly forecast / close process to accurately reflect the RDC Task Orders.

  • Support the development of the five year strategic and annual operating plans.

  • Candidate will work in a challenging and fast paced team environment.

This position will include working independently and also managing the overall finance team to ensure successful EVMS execution on the program.

Qualified candidate may telecommute at management discretion.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics or related

  • 6+ Years finance related working experience

  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Program Controls (Cost/Schedule), and/or Estimate at Completion (EAC) Process

Qualifications We Value:

  • SAP APEX EV, BW, PMX, and EDIT+ experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft suite of tools (EXCEL, Power Point, Word)

  • Proactive with demonstrated ability to creatively problem solve

  • Working knowledge of Raytheon financial and accounting policies and procedures
