Raytheon Technologies Mgr II Financial Analysis- Remote in Tucson, Arizona

Naval Shipboard Missiles (NSM), a Product Area within the Raytheon Missiles and Defense Naval Power Mission Area, has an immediate opening for a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager.

This position provides a tremendous growth opportunity to partner with finance and program leadership team to provide FP&A support for a $1.7B business that includes the SM-2, SM-6, RAM and ESSM programs.

The FP&A Manager will be a critical member of the Naval Shipboard Missiles Finance Leadership team providing analytical insight of our financial forecasts and providing risk and opportunity assessment as they pertain to the critical metrics of Bookings, Sales, Earnings and Cash.

Primary responsibilities will be to:

Lead a team of 3 Financial Planning analysts assigned to Naval Shipboard Missile programs to include training, oversight, and career/performance development

Proactively drive the preparation of the Naval Shipboard Missiles Five Year and Annual Operating Plans (AOP), monthly financial forecasts, monthly financial status and variance analysis reporting

Coordinate with the NSM Program Business managers on Balance Sheet management and working capital reporting to include AR/CFR management and reporting

Conduct variance analysis and data / variance submittals

Drive alignment on financial forecasts and respective risks and opportunities through cross-functional collaboration at multiple levels of the organization

Respond to Ad hoc requests including Return on Investment, Audit Requests, Special Projects, etc

Partner with NSM Finance Director and Business Managers to successfully execute Naval Air Missiles financial reporting cadence.

Minimum Required Skills

:

Bachelor degree in Math, Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field

and 8 years of directly related experience or a Master degree

in Business, Accounting, Math, Finance or a related field and 6 years of directly related experience

Experience interfacing with and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Business Development, Contracts, Orders to Cash, etc.)

Experience with Business Systems

such as plan, AO and APEX

Experience in developing forecasts including variance analysis

Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)

Experience Excel Proficiency (Lookups, Pivot tables, graphing, etc)

Highly Desired Skills:

Experience with meeting critical deadlines

Ability to develop and apply solutions and process improvements

Exceptional analytical ability

Excellent presentation skills

Good organizational skills and energetic self-starter

Raytheon business experience

Ability to communicate effectively with peers and leadership
