The Weapons & Platforms Center (W&PC) within the Systems Integration and Test Directorate for Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) in Tucson, AZ is seeking candidates for the role of AIM-9X Platform Integration Section Lead. T his role is responsible for integration and verification, as well as field flight test support includng cost and schedule oversight for the products developed by members of this section.
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Responsibilities to Anticipate
You will lead an engineering section performing planning, design, development, integration and verification.
You will perform in the role of direct supervisor to all section members with responsibilities including leading section members through the performance development process, career guidance, problem resolution, training plans, absence management and timecard approvals.
Responsibilities include coordinating with all associated programs to manage manpower needs, address technical issues, assist with independent reviews and provide general functional support. You will provide oversight for technical input, cost, and schedules over the products developed by members of your section.
Qualifications you must have:
BS in an Engineering field (Preferred Majors: Electrical, Aerospace, Systems, Physics)
A minimum of eight (8) years of technical/engineering experience with emphasis in flight test planning and execution
Experience with project and workload management skills to utilize resources effectively to satisfy demanding internal customers and implementation schedules
Working knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
Experience in a “Customer" oriented environment.
Active DoD issued Secret Clearance
Experience in a leadership role.
Experience presenting to leadership and peers.
