RMD is hiring a senior logistics manager, G11 at the Missile Integration and Test Facility (MITF), Tucson. This position is responsible for leadership of all MITF
logistics activities related to material receipt, shipment, inventory accuracy, strategic warehouse management, and all RMS Airport material receiving and distribution operations based out of Building 833. This leader will be responsible for the planning and execution of all MITF factory, logistics support operations regarding MRP
requirements and end production goals. Exemplary leadership interface with the Operation’s leadership team, factory value stream managers, and production
control is paramount.
In addition, the MITF Logistics Leader is responsible for leading the Logistics team in Camden, AR as well as support additional sites with similar explosive storage requirements.
The MITF Logistics leader will influence system solutions, technological
improvement, facilitate forward thinking initiatives to include streamlining and integrating processes, incorporate best-in-class and reliable solutions for
customer and enterprise solutions.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
•Superior and timely communication across operational lines to subordinates, peers and senior leadership personnel.
•Management and accountability for Safety of personnel and operations, Quality of performance, support of projected schedules and unplanned
challenges, effective budgetary/EAC execution.
•Professional interaction with and in depth management understanding of Bargaining Unit contract requirements and procedures.
•Administration of PRISM operations, Sarbanes Oxley personnel authorizations and comprehensive oversight of PRISM activities which ensure accurate
process execution and material accountability.
Qualifications you Must Have:
•Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience encompassing strong personnel leadership achievement in a collaborative, cross-functional, matrix environment within the Logistics, Operations, Supply Chain and/or Program functions.
•Bachelor's Degree in Business/Logistics orientated focus; MBA preferred.
•Working knowledge of DoD 4145.26 Contractor’s Safety Manual for Explosives, ITAR, Defense Security Services regulations, Federal Acquisition Regulations
(FAR) and ability to comprehend, implement and explain complex policies and processes.
•Clear understanding of compliance and audit requirements of the US Government, the Defense Contract Management Agency, the Defense Security Services, Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms.
• Strong compliance temperament, strategic planning skill, and understanding of forecasting requirements with ability to convert to effective direction of activity
and resource allocation through high tempo, competing priorities and conflicts.
•Superior understanding of quality based platforms used in forming analytical, root cause corrective action applications. Problem solving/decision making skills with ability to make and clearly drive and communicate timely, effective, fact based decisions.
• Exemplary oral and written communication skills; Effective use of Microsoft office systems.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
A CSCP, CTLD or comparable Supply Chain professional certification will be required in the first year.
