The role of the Facilities Mechanical Infrastructure Manager (MIM) position is to oversee and manage the performance and optimization of all or part of the Mechanical infrastructure systems throughout RMD sites. This includes, but is not limited to, utility systems, manufacturing systems, maintenance programs and engineering support. The MIM will be responsible for certifying that all major infrastructure projects are completed in accordance with Company standards in the approval process. The MIM must have the expertise to lead teams consisting of maintenance technicians, contractors, project managers, facilities engineers, reliability engineers and other related support personnel as needed. The MIM will provide leadership support in technical projects and be able to interact with all levels of the organization.
Work with stakeholders to translate business goals into sets of requirements which can be supported by a technical solution, functional solution or a business process
Using performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement
Manage projects, lead team(s) to ensure project methods, approaches and controls adhere to Raytheon’s directives, instructions and requirements
Manage all system roles, access and proper authorization for infrastructure monitoring systems
Evaluate functional specifications for data concerning infrastructure requirements in manufacturing, lab and office environments
Strong mechanical background in plant maintenance, industrial equipment, systems and/or facilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to speak and write clearly
Excellent organization, time management, and follow-up skills; high sense of urgency; ability to successfully handle multiple projects concurrently
Strong knowledge of applicable OSHA and ANSI laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and make sound decisions in emergency situations
Ability to effectively manage a team and drive a multi-disciplined group including members from all lines of business to achieve goals and required results.
Ability to perform detail analysis to solve problems independently and in group settings.
Self-starter with strong analytical skills.
Strong technical skills and working knowledge of maintenance practices and project management skills.
Excellent computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Working knowledge of American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) standards
Working knowledge of SAP enterprise asset management system
Proven project management background with large budgets, covering many physical locations and partnering with numerous different internal and external entities and stakeholders
High level of knowledge in maintaining and repairing emergency infrastructure and/or production systems
FMP or BOC certification or equivalent
Six Sigma Certification
Knowledge and skills in CAD, Visio, and Micro-station
This position typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in business management or applicable field and 5+ years of related experience in Facilities.
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
