Raytheon Technologies Program Cost Controls Financial Analyst - Remote in Tucson, Arizona
At Raytheon Missiles & Defense, you have the opportunity to try new things and make a bigger difference across a broader end-to-end solution, a richer technology and product set, an expanded range of disciplines, a growing global footprint and a more diverse team of colleagues and customers.
The JSOW & MALD programs have an immediate opening for a Principal Finance Specialist, Program Cost Controls. This role includes execution of several contracts between both JSOW and MALD programs. Specifically, this individual would help lead MALD-N (Navy) EMD efforts and various development and sustainment contracts between JSOW and MALD. JSOW & MALD programs equate roughly to $150M of annual revenues primarily in support of a primarily Navy and FMS customer base. You will also have the opportunity get exposure to other contracts as their desire and skillset permits (MALD LRIP capture, JSOW Production, etc). This diverse portfolio includes ongoing execution of all phases in the program life cycle, supports both DoD and FMS customers and all contract types, and therefore the ideal candidate must be able to prioritize and allocate resources in a challenging, deadline driven environment.
The program includes an efficient and effective team that relies on individual drive and integrity for success. Program culture is of high priority in this environment and it is expected that the candidate is capable of building interpersonal business relationships, trust and rapport with business contacts within not only the program, but also the product line and customer teams. You will work closely with various functional organizations to proactively analyze and articulate financial impacts. EACs and EV metrics directly inform the financial forecasting for each contract, and you will be responsible for understanding how changes in their contracts’ execution impact the BSEC (Bookings, sales, earnings and cash) metrics and are planned timely and accurately. The financial planning aspects are not limited to current year monthly forecasts, but also include supporting AOP (annual) strategy and the 5YP (5 Year Plan) / LRP (Long Range Planning) processes.

On JSOW & MALD, analysts aren’t assigned to particular elements of cost (labor vs material), but instead are responsible for working with the IPTs and functions to consolidate their entire EAC for each of their respective contracts.
Manage all internal weekly and monthly reporting requirements, working to automate as much as possible (ex. Earned Value, SAAG, CLIN LoF/LoC, Labor/Cost, BSEC, etc)
