The Land Warfare and Air Defense (LW&AD) Mission Area has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager of the Close Combat Systems and Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicles (OMFV) portfolios, comprising about $360M in annual revenue.
The Land Warfare & Air Defense mission area provides U.S. and partner nations with advanced, end-to-end capabilities to deter, defend and defeat a wide range of threats. Systems and products span layered and integrated air and missile defense and a full spectrum of land warfare sensor and effects. The CCS portfolio is comprised of Guided Multi-Purpose Munitions (GMM), Javelin, Pike, and TOW.
OMFV is a multi-billion dollar competitive capture, joint venture business opportunity for Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD).
Contract types span Fixed Price to Cost Type with a wide variety of terms, conditions, and financing arrangements, which makes for a rich set of financial opportunities and challenges. This portfolio of programs shows growth in the next few years and presents strategic financial opportunities as the portfolio continues to evolve.
The primary responsibilities of this role are to drive business results through leadership on key program elements such as execution, new business capture, cost control, and developing a strong and diverse functional bench. The successful candidate will have a grasp of high-level issues to shape the business strategy as well as the ownership of the financial outcomes in near-term execution.
The role will require partnering with program leadership to deliver on those strategies as well as closely mentoring and managing Business Managers with varying levels of experience.
Some of the other responsibilities include:
Financial reporting, financial oversight cost control, EACs, financial planning, and strategy planning for the programs
Identifying risks, opportunities, and implementation plans
Partnering with the Accounting and FP&A organizations to provide analysis support
Collaborating with peer functions to deliver on program and strategic outcomes
Managing the organizational talent through management development plans and succession plans; partnering with other Finance leaders to identify and develop future leaders; driving rotations across Finance to build bench strength across the organization.
This position can be located at any RMD facility.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or other related field; MBA preferred
Minimum 12 years of related professional experience preferably related to financial analysis in a highly matrixed organization
Experience in a defense or aerospace industry
Experience leading teams across a large organization
This position requires the eligibility to have or obtain a security clearance.
Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process.
Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement.
