RMD DT Global Cybersecurity Services has an opening on our team for a DT Cyber Defense Technologist who can work with various functional departments to install, troubleshoot and maintain software across all RMD business areas.
This role will allow you to collaborate with a diverse team to support fast-paced, critical programs with classified information system capabilities. Success in this role means you are able to develop, implement and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments across various classified programs. Program teams rely on your collaboration and guidance to define computing requirements and create end-to-end solutions to solve complex DT infrastructure problems.
Please note that this role will be located at any RMD Facility in Arizona - with occasional travel required to domestic/local RMD locations as business needs dictate.
Please note that capped budget relocation is available to the selected applicant if they are eligible per company policy. Budget amount to be discussed at the appropriate stage of the hiring process.
This role could be filled as a Sr Cyber Defense Technologist I or II at the complete discretion of the hiring manager in evaluating the skills, knowledge, and experience level of the selected applicant.
Proficiency/Competency installing, configuring, and troubleshooting security-related software.
Experience installing configuring, and troubleshooting software packages on systems running Microsoft or UNIX/Linux operating systems
Familiarity with DoD hardening requirements for compliance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Eligible to obtain a US Dept. of Defense (DOD) SECRET Security Clearance. Except in rare cases, only US Citizens are eligible to obtain US SECRET Security clearances.
Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting software packages in virtualized environments (VMware and Hyper-V)
Strong communications/presentation skills and ability to explain difficult concepts to a variety of skill levels
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and self-manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet set deadlines
Ability to lead a small team providing technical guidance, expertise, and support
Ability to lead, direct, and review the work of team members to ensure accomplishment of operational plans and results
Ability to identify and improve processes, systems, or products to enhance performance
Ability to communicate with team members, customers, and vendors to increase performance, quality, and customer satisfaction
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint
Eager to learn and solve problems
Security related certification such as CISSP, Security+, Network+
Experience with DISA SCAP/STIG compliance tools
Familiarity with Active Directory and AD Group Policy
Experience with batch scripting, bash scripting, VBScript, PowerShell, or Ansible
Required Education (including Major):
BS/BA in fields such as but not limited to: Computer Science, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Management Information Technology, and Information Assurance. Significant equivalent years of experience (at the hiring manager's discretion) will be considered in lieu of a degree (Minimum 8 years of STEM experience = BS degree equivalent).
