Job Summary:

Our Global Supply Change Management organization has an opportunity for a talented professional to join our team in a critical Supplier Engineering role within the Enterprise IST (Integrated Supplier Team) supporting the CCA (Circuit Card Assembly) factory in Andover, MA . You will be involved in all phases of product life cycles, beginning with proposal development, new product development, advanced manufacturing initiatives and continuing through production implementation. You will ensure technical data packages are complete and accurate and that the supplier technical performance meets the objectives of quality, cost and schedule. You will drive Raytheon Technologies design requirement updates to improve manufacturing and quality capabilities of suppliers. You will also initiate continuous and measureable design and process improvement of supplier hardware for affordability

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity and risk

  • Ensure product and process capability across the supplier’s value stream, including sub-tiers

  • Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities within the supplier’s manufacturing and quality systems

  • Perform technical evaluations in support of cost and price analysis

  • Manage supplier requests for product and process changes

  • Manage product non-conformances; Drive root cause and corrective action

  • Provide manufacturing guidance to suppliers

  • Actively participate in program / engineering reviews and change boards

  • Communicate the technical health of our suppliers to stakeholders

  • Travel to supplier facilities as deemed necessary up to 25%

    Qualifications You Must Have:

  • B.S./B.A. in a related Engineering field

  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience

  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

    Qualifications We Value:

  • Masters’ degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or STEM field

  • Experience reviewing and interpreting engineering or other technical documentation related to technical requirements of produced parts, such as Statements of Work (SOW)

  • Experience with design and development of products that fall within the electrical or mechanical engineering discipline

  • Experience with manufacturing, testing, design, and development of energetic type products

  • The ability to proactively anticipate and identify needs and expectations of department and integrate into work process
