Raytheon Technologies Test Environments & Operations (TO&E), Technical Support Engr II in Tucson, Arizona

Test Environments & Operations (TO&E) is seeking a Lab Lead. This person will have reporting responsibilities to Section Head with Test Environments & Operations (TO&E) Department.

This position will interface with Integrated Product Team Leads (IPTL), program managers and stake holders,

within multi-disciplined design teams across multiple projects.

As a member of the TO&E Department, this position will assist in leading and managing the implementation of key Engineering Lab Council strategic projects and day-to-day operation requirements within multiple Engineering Labs, with particular focus on compliance and improvement efforts.

The idea candidate will be creative and innovative, possessing strong organizational, coordination, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

In the position, the Lab Lead must be able to collaborate with customers, employees, and senior leaders when implementing process and procedural changes.

Candidates should have a high situational awareness, strong emotional intelligence and be able to effectively work multiple projects simultaneously with diverse groups and customers

.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

•Lab Operating Procedure (LOP) Management; provide direction for lab users on established policies.

•Management, coordination and implementation of Environment Health Safety and Sustainment

•Property and Metrology Management

•Perform cost analysis, ensure task completion within approved budgets.

•Provide process support to Supply Chain Management (SCM)

Assessment preparation and support, lead audits, oversee engineering lab objective evaluation and Voluntary Protection Program and assist in the development of long-range objectives, including program goals

•Responsible for safeguarding of classified/proprietary material, hardware and documentation, utilizing defense material/property under Export Administration Regulations

•Develop and implement communication plans, providing consulting support to functional and program leadership.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

Typically requires a related University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience

• One (1) year or more experience with EHSS processes including OSHA and SDS requirements • Previous experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

• One (1) years or more experience with security compliance with government regulations to include

NISPOM/JAFAN standards • One (1) year or more experience interfacing directly with customers in an engineering environment

US Citizenship is required

Desired Skills:

Experience working in a challenging, fast-paced, team environment

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Familiarity with EHSS, NISPOM, JAFAN and Foreign Object Elimination

Ability to work independently or in a collaborative environment

Strong analytical skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to develop report and build positive relationships with both our internal and external customers

Two (2) years of experience working and/or supporting functional management and program leadership within a professional organization

Have a strong breadth of knowledge in regards to maintaining compliance

Proven leadership skills, including the willingness to make decisions and embrace change

Background in audit/assessment reparation and support services
