The Subsystems Make Center – Radio Frequency Electronic Integration Factory (RFEI) 847 factory includes product-focused factories that assemble and test products in support of the Raytheon Missiles & Defense portfolio of weapons to the war fighter. Job Summary:

The Value Stream Lead (VSL) is responsible for all manufacturing related activities within a production or depot-manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will report to a Value Stream Manager and be accountable for the daily management and direction of personnel and equipment in the Factory. The VSL will be tasked to define clear operational schedules, priorities, goals, and collaborate with functional support employees to allow for continuous manufacturing of line-flow or end-item products. Additionally, the VSL will have accountability for the quality of production, and depot products, while being delivered on time at or below cost targets.

This position involves direct support of manufacturing activities and requires spending significant amounts of time in and around factory areas. The candidate must be capable and willing to work extended hours (when required) in a fast-paced deadline driven environment. The ideal candidate will possess the demonstrated skills and experience necessary to perform in manufacturing leadership role.

Second Shift - Weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday 12 hour shift plus 1 4 hour day) Schedule Required

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Site Leadership interface and interactions

  • Schedule, Quality and Cost performance management of responsible scope

  • Provide the required resources (facilities, processes, equipment, training, etc.) to ensure all employees work in a safe working environment

  • Interface with support employees including planning, engineering, quality and other Value Stream Leaders across shifts

  • Lead factory execution teams

  • Perform a wide variety of sequencing, planning, scheduling, coordinating and reporting tasks in support of the manufacturing workflow

  • Prioritization of project issues and assisting in the Root Cause / Corrective Action process to meet productivity, quality, and organizational goals and contractual delivery requirements across the Factory

  • Ensure compliance to all pertinent operating procedures, organizational directives and work instructions

    Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM) or Electrical/Mechanical Associates of Applied Sciences with an additional 1 years of Manufacturing leadership experience may be substituted for each 1 year of college

  • Minimum 5 years’ professional experience with minimum 2 years’ experience in manufacturing (Assembly, Testing, & Maintenance of hardware and equipment), operations, production control, military, or related area

  • Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to communicate across the entire organization

  • Material Resource Planning experience within an Enterprise Resource Planning system or like system (SAP, Expected at Complete, IMDS - Integrated Maintenance Data System, TMSS - Tactical Missile Reporting System)

  • An active and in-scope Secret US security clearance

  • Employment conditional on obtaining the additional clearance necessary - Special Access Requirement (SAR)
