Summary The Security Awareness Leader will be responsible for developing, leading, and executing a comprehensive strategy to drive a culture and mindset of security at Raytheon Technologies (RTX). This role reports into the Executive Director, Cybersecurity Strategy & Transformation and will need to collaborate with partners across functions and business units to continually understand the top human risks to RTX, develop mitigation plans, and lead programs to mitigate those risks.Responsibilities

  • Develop the strategy, goals, and objectives for the company-wide information security awareness and training program with the goal of changing employee and contractor behaviors over time. A successful strategy is a harmonized and cohesive one across related functions and business units.

  • Develop a set of measurements and metrics to articulate the outcomes of the security awareness strategy and demonstrate progress.

  • Lead programs/initiatives including enterprise simulated phishing, awareness month, cyber summits, enterprise training, targeted audience training, etc.

  • Collaborate closely with partners across the company including privacy, communications, technical experts, learning & development, business units, and others.

  • Ensure multiple learning styles are included in training and education, leveraging various communication channels and methods.

  • Be a player/coach for a diverse and geographically dispersed team of professionals.

  • Provide overarching program administration such as defining and executing the security awareness budget; managing staff, contractors, and interns; managing vendors and contracts for products and services; reporting status; etc


  • 10-12+ years of program management or related experiences in large, multi-national organizations preferred

  • 3+ years of security awareness experience

  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience leading in a large, matrixed and global environment.

    Education: Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience. Location: Remote Required Status: US Citizen or US Person required. Work could involve ITAR-regulated projects.
