Raytheon Technologies Sr Tech Training Specialist in Qatar
The Qatar Patriot Training Technical Publications Manager is responsible for helping to facilitate training in Qatar, researching subject-specific data, including engineering data, design specifications, Software Investigation Reports and Missile Command Continuation Group reports. Performs relevant actions to prepare the data for input to lesson plans and will maintain accountability for technical publications, will assist in the daily coordination of training and instructors.
This position will be located in Qatar with initial on-boarding and training located in Lawton, OK.
Active SECRET Clearance is required for this position at time of interview.
The Training Tech Pubs and Training Coordinator/Deputy will provide system-related Patriot leadership to US and foreign customers. During course conduct, will interface directly with customer representatives and make appropriate scheduling decisions based upon equipment availability, student requirements and other factors. During course preparation, will interface with engineers and other technical personnel to perform critical training task analysis, validation of documentation and will act as subject matter expert for preparation. This individual is responsible for various projects assigned to the training group, and will act as an advisor to subordinate staff members to meet schedules and or resolve technical problems. This position will require travel to various locations throughout Qatar (with Onboarding in Lawton, Oklahoma).
4+ years of experience supporting the Patriot Air Defense Missile System
The individual must have advanced knowledge in the operation and maintenance of the Patriot Air Defense Missile System.
Must have at least one year experience managing a training activity
This position requires a 14E/14A/14T/140E military occupational specialty or experience in Patriot tactical operations.
Microsoft Word and Power Point
Ability to obtain Qatar work visa.
Technical Publications (e.g. Technical Manuals, Field Manuals)
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment
Must have an Active DOD secret clearance to be considered for the position
US Army MOS-specific training
Military training of foreign soldiers
Experience working in a training environment in Qatar
B.S./B.A. degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math (STEM), Instructional Design, Training or Related Degree
In lieu of Bachelor's degree, candidate may also possess an Associate's degree in STEM or related degree with 6 years' related experience or High school Diploma with 8 years' of related experience
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems
