Raytheon Technologies Business Customer Liaison in United States

Raytheon Technologies has an opening for a Sr. Principal Business Relations Liaison I.

Manage IT demand and service delivery for (Aerospace/Defense/Enterprise Services) customers with the goal of generating business value.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Alignment

  • Coordinate project and business as usual transactional requests from partner organizations, ensuring that delivery throughout the lifecycle of any given activity meets or exceeds agreed parameters and expectations

  • Partner with the BRM lead to ensure proposed solutions meet established business solution needs and acceptance criteria and align with overall strategy

  • Form strategic relationships and partnerships with our stakeholders supporting key projects and initiatives

  • Stakeholder Engagement

  • Address Infrastructure performance and delivery to customer, by managing service levels and reporting relevant metrics

  • Understand stakeholders Infrastructure needs and manage service delivery

  • Represent stakeholders in internal project status reviews

  • Ensure our customers are aware of major projects, changes in process and procedure and new services

  • Drive value for our customers through recommendations of services and improvements

  • Provide support for initiatives, including high-level requirements gathering, liaising, and addressing service requests

  • Help to resolve escalations of service delivery

  • Communication & Collaboration

  • Liaise with other BRM, Integration, and PMO teams, on strategic and tactical plans including book of work (projects portfolio) alignment and prioritization, demand management, stakeholder-facing metrics/SLAs

  • Partner with other GIS BRM teams to establish, document and continually improve internal processes

  • Collaborate on capability roadmaps, identify opportunities for business improvement through new infrastructure capabilities

  • Create materials with consistent messaging of project and operational status to stakeholders

  • Tools, Technical Capabilities & Business Acumen

  • Develop deep knowledge of (Aerospace/Defense/Enterprise Services) products, services and operations, building horizontal and vertical relationships

  • Maintain technical knowledge including emerging technologies and business

  • Maintain CRM information (in database when available)

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 10+ years of overall IT experience

  • Experience in client-facing role supporting IT

  • Proven experience managing requirements using Agile Methodology and creating requirements documents and business cases

Desired Skills:

  • Proven experience in managing and executing large-scale cross-functional IT initiatives

  • Proven experience setting expectations with business partners and building effective relationships with influential stakeholders

  • BRMP certification preferred

Required Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Business or related discipline
