Raytheon Technologies DT Capture Engagement Lead- Nationwide in United States
DT Subject Matter Expert for Mission Area Capture teams supporting all new mission area capture and proposals
RMD Digital Technology (DT) is seeking a strong candidate to serve as the Capture Engagement Lead (CEL) in support of new business and growth proposals led by Program Capture Managers across those business areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership and management of the DT scope for multiple program proposals. The candidate will work closely across multi-functional teams comprised of Engineering, Security, Manufacturing, Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Management as well as senior Program, Capture and DT leadership on proposal status and will require influence across multiple functional areas. The individual should possess a complete understanding of the Capture and Proposal process as well have an understanding of DoD cyber security compliance regulations (DFARS/RMF).
They will utilize a strong background in supporting proposals and programs through experience in team collaboration and project management.
This position may require the ability and willingness to travel domestically as business needs dictate.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
all early gate capture support for a mission area
communication back to DT leadership of status on all upcoming proposals
partnership with Proposal Leads when transitioning proposal efforts
development of status documents for leadership reviews
documentation in support of mission area metrics for leadership
occasional early rough order of magnitude (ROM) or Non-Binding Budgetary Estimates (NBBE) support
Support IPDS Gate or color reviews as applicable, including Independent Reviews.
Support special projects related to the capture team, as necessary
Proactive engagement across the DT organization as well as related functions and stakeholders
Minimum Required Skills:
BS/BA I degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, Engineering or STEM degree and minimum 6 years overall Information Technology and/or Software/Systems Engineering experience or a Master degree in a STEM and 4 years of directly related experience
Experience with proposal preparation, IT and Engineering requirements analysis, cost and schedule estimation and technical documentation related to the Statement of Work (SOW).
Experience in facilitating and responding to Requests for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposals (RFP).
Experience with Project Management, includes: Risk & Opportunity management, Control Account Management, procurement/asset management, and performance tracking/management.
Experience or exposure to Earned Value Management or similar project performance management system.
Experience with Contracts, BOEs, IT and Engineering Processes and Practices.
Experience in leadership roles requiring an Innovative/strategic approach with ability to influence peer program leads from other functions
- Experience with Architectural and design efforts to develop new capabilities in support of business growth objectives.
Experience using MS Office Suite (Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project) or similar applications.
Must be a US citizen- US Citizenship statues required as this position needs active US Security Clearance within one year of employment
Engages proactively with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly Desired Skills:
Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver executive style presentation
Experience in system architecture and engaging customers to develop systems design (including architecture, Conops, and deployment options) for both classified and unclassified processing and communications systems.
Effective presence and influential leadership capability with the ability to interact with senior levels of leadership – including customer, Raytheon teammates, and suppliers.
Experience working in a program and/or engineering environment. Previous Global Program support desired.
Previous experience architecting, designing, building, and supporting solutions in commercial cloud environments.
E xperience supporting distributed teams across geographically disbursed locations.
An active Secret or Top Secret Clearance issued by US Dept. of Defense, except in rare cases only US Citizens are eligible to obtain US DOD Clearances.
