The Raytheon Missiles & Defense (RMD) Program Management Excellence organization is seeking an individual to join its EVM Surveillance, Compliance and Learning Team, which is a critical element of RMD’s “Best in Class” EVM Systems and Implementation. This position requires a dedicated individual who can be successful in a fast paced and demanding environment.
Primary responsibilities include supporting both Internal and External EVMS Surveillance (including the ability to assess and communicate EVM compliance), support the EVM Certification process, EVM Training and department event communications. The selected candidate will have demonstrated EVM experience throughout the program life cycle, which includes but is not limited to EVM policy and procedure implementation and effective communication across all levels of the business (Functional Organizations, Product Lines, and Senior Management, Program Management).
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Conduct EVM Internal Surveillance testing in accordance with published testing methodology
Contribute to closed loop feedback to program teams regarding EVM compliance and implementation
Prepare program teams for Joint Surveillance Reviews
Support the interface with DCMA for Joint Surveillance events
Support training facilitation and coordination for EVM events.
Limited travel. This is a remote position.
Qualifications You Must Have:
8 years of experience in Finance/Business; Scheduling; Integrated Program Management Analysis; Program/Project Management; Earned Value Management or a combination of the above
Professional experience using analytical and interpretive techniques to assess EVM execution, compliance, materiality, and intent of process implementation
Experience meeting/executing EVM reporting requirements to include the Data Item Descriptions for the IPMR
Demonstrated Presentation experience, with previous responsibilities including reporting and presenting to stakeholders.
Required Education: Bachelor degree in Finance or Business Administration or related field
Qualifications We Value:
Exposure to application of EVMS policies, procedures, and intent across the enterprise in multiple contractual scenarios
Knowledge of the 32 EIA-748 EVMS Guidelines, Raytheon EVMS Process Description Manual 10255, and the EVM Procedures
Knowledgeable of full suite of RMD EVMS tools and their application (APEX EV, wInsight, PMX Tool Suite, PRISM EV, etc)
Current Raytheon EVM Certification or Industry equivalent
Ability to track actions to closure
