Job Title: International Assignment Coordinator (IAC) SME
Raytheon Technologies – Enterprise Services is looking for service excellence Human Resources candidates to join Human Resources under the International Assignment Services (IAS) area.
The IAC is a subject matter expert supporting internationally deployed employees from the initiation of their assignment through repatriation. Without appreciate oversight provided by the IAS lead, the IAC is the expatriate experience manager for all complex resolution aspects of their deployment. This role also develops and manages optimized IAS processes to enable workflow and customer service delivery. In addition, it provides inputs to continuing process improvements including vendor relationships, as well as future program bids. The IAC interfaces, guides and influence all IAS workflow stakeholders including employee, their families, vendors, international business partners, compensation team, and in-country personnel such as administrators, managers, and vendors. International Assignment Services is a high volume, fast paced, team oriented, customer service driven environment focused on individual and team performance and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop and implement required documentation for successful expatriate pre-deployment, deployment; sustainment and repatriation phases in a timely and effective manner.
Identify, track and manage performance criteria to enable effective case management workflow.
Provide interpretation on Company international deployment policies and procedures.
Provide effective customer support through reliable, quick and accurate problem resolution, while maintaining composure and escalating need to next Tier as appropriate .
Develop and implement processes along with applicable documentation for workflow tasks.
Conduct international assignment orientation and tax briefings as appropriate.
Manage the process for pre-deployment, deployment and repatriation for employees working in foreign countries, understanding and communicating to the employee the nuances of dealing with immigration, tax, benefits, cultural and other requirements to the country/countries.
Calculate and submit expatriate allowance compensation calculations and audit as applicable.
Resolve, anticipate and/or eliminate immigration and relocation vendor account challenges.
Identify, develop and implement customer satisfaction enablers into IAS workflow.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Strong analytical ability to investigate, diagnose and resolve customer issues.
Demonstrated problem solving skills.
Effectively organize, prioritize, & execute multiple tasks and follow a multi-step process through to completion.
Experience working with expatriates and employer sponsored programs.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and be able to work independently.
Ability to work flexible schedule, possibly outside normal business hours.
Proven customer service excellence, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work without appreciative supervision.
Understanding of tax implications and ability to convey them to employee.
Demonstrated excellent attention to detail, and adapt to changes in a fast-pace environment.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (if required based on programs supporting).
Knowledge of expat workflow and processes from pre-deployment to repatriation.
Previous experience working internationally, as an expat, or servicing expatriates
Proven organizational skills to prioritize, lead and complete tasks.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
Knowledge of one or more foreign languages/cultures
Innovative, agile and a strong change agent who seeks opportunities for improvement, and will be results-oriented
Knowledge of particular country or countries and with nuances of dealing with immigration, tax, benefits, cultural and other requirements to the country/countries.
Demonstrated knowledge interpreting and applying international assignment policies and/or related policies impacting the employee while on assignment.
Demonstrated knowledge of International assignment personnel case management.
General HR, compensation, payroll and/or international tax (expatriate) experience in a customer facing role.
Strong leadership, coaching and influence management skills.
Experience with HR information systems, payroll systems, case management systems and expatriate case management systems.
Experience with a variety of HR concepts, practices, and procedures.
Experience in the defense industry.
Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of related experience
