Raytheon Technologies Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls in United States
The Resilient Navigation and Reconnaissance Solutions (RNRS) Finance Team in El Segundo, CA is seeking a highly motivated Program Cost Control Analyst to join the Secure Sensor Solutions (S3) Mission Area of Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) division.
The analyst will be responsible for assisting the business manager/supervisor in the management of the financial performance of the ASARS-2B Production program under RNRS. The production award will be will be negotiated over the next few months (4Q). This award is the first production (LRIP) award to implement the changes from the current EMD contract with annual follow on awards.
This position requires proactive direction and significant interaction with the functional stakeholders to ensure alignment regarding plan, operating and financial objectives. The selected candidate must be able to work under deadlines and constraints. This position requires the ability to provide top level program planning and control guidance as well as the ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of organization. The effective candidate will collaborate with the ASARS-2B Production CAMs and the ASARS-2B Finance Lead as well as other functional team members to ensure the effective implementation of quarterly EACs, monthly Operating Reviews, as well as AOP, Long Range Plans and monthly forecasting and maintenance.
Specific areas of responsibility include but are not limited to the following:
Ensures adequate financial controls that provide a balance between finance goals and program goals
Responsible for preparing monthly operating reviews, EACs, and financial overviews
Reviews financial reports, presentations for accuracy and completeness including IPMRs.
Support Joint Surveillance Audits as they arise
Guide direct reports – responsible for their training and performance as well as career advancement
This position is contingent upon Contract Award
Minimum 5 years applicable work in Financial Management, Financial Planning and Analysis, Program Controls or related areas of finance with a Bachelors degree in associated field
4+ years applicable work in Financial Management, Financial Planning and Analysis, Program Controls or related areas of finance with a Masters degree in associated field
Demonstrated ability to lead, collaborate and guide stakeholders and team members to results, particularly on-time deliverables
Prior Finance leadership experience, demonstrated experience effectively leading/managing/developing teams
Working knowledge of Earned Value Management and related tools
Demonstrated ability to be proactive, creative, and innovative and use critical and strategic thinking
Demonstrated experience with SAP accounting system tools
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to meet multiple commitments as expected
Required Education (including Major):
- Typically requires Bachelor’s degree. Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or related field preferred.
