Raytheon Technologies Proposal Analyst II in United States
This candidate will be responsible for cost proposal execution, as well as being a primary resource that will assume several tasks previously performed by Global Supply Chain (GSC). This role will be responsible for all aspects of proposal submission for Operations and Supply Chain costs, including assuring adherence to company policy and compliance. Tasks related to the supply chain costs include assisting with the creation of the Bill of Material (BOM) and assuming responsibility of associated material pricing, GSC metric based labor estimation, Basis of Estimate preparation, Schedule C creation and related support of customer audit activities. This role will also be required to coordinate and assistwith the pricing of Operations labor and non-recurring activities. Other r esponsibilities include but are not limited to:
Proactively lead/support all estimating activities across the programs in the CCA and RMD product lines;
Develop a strong understanding of the enterprise wide proposal pricing tool, ACES, and the RMD-East material pricing tool. IMPPS.
Assist with documenting new work instructions for proposal preparation as we develop a singular proposal process for RMD East and West.
Ensure proposal alignment with the financial objectives of program directors program managers, and material program managers across the product line (proposal priorities, booking priorities, pricing strategies, etc.);
Develop creative strategic approaches to product pricing with an emphasis on affordability;
Prepare RMD and CCA Management Packages or Gate 4 packages to ensure sound basis for estimates, appropriate risks/opportunities, and accurate calculations.
Ensure compliance with FAR and internal estimating requirements (primarily FAR 15.408, Table 15-2).
The candidate must be a strategic thinker and have demonstrated communication skills, strong organization skills, and attention to detail. In addition, the candidate must have a solid working knowledge of common industry pricing tools such as: ProPricer or ACES and understand the requirements of FAR, Part 15 and the RMD specific Cost Estimating Manual and Operations Bid Manual .
Prior experience preparing TINA compliant cost proposal and a working knowledge of PRISM or ACES. Advanced Microsoft EXCEL skills would be highly desired.
Required Education (including Major):
Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field and a minimum of 1 or more years of Estimating and Pricing or Finance related experience is required. Also, although not required, it is a plus if the candidate has experience in various estimating disciplines to include material, operations and/or product line estimating roles
