Raytheon Technologies Senior Analyst, Program Cost Controls in United States

The Resilient Navigation and Reconnaissance Solutions (RNRS) Finance Team in El Segundo, CA is seeking a highly motivated Program Cost Control Analyst to join the Secure Sensor Solutions (S3) Mission Area of Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S) division.

The analyst will be responsible for assisting the business manager/supervisor in the management of the financial performance of the ASARS-2B Production program under RNRS. The production award will be will be negotiated over the next few months (4Q). This award is the first production (LRIP) award to implement the changes from the current EMD contract with annual follow on awards.

This position requires proactive direction and significant interaction with the functional stakeholders to ensure alignment regarding plan, operating and financial objectives. The selected candidate must be able to work under deadlines and constraints. This position requires the ability to provide top level program planning and control guidance as well as the ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of organization. The effective candidate will collaborate with the ASARS-2B Production CAMs and the ASARS-2B Finance Lead as well as other functional team members to ensure the effective implementation of quarterly EACs and monthly Operating Reviews..

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Perform SAP Earned Value Internal and/or External Reporting

  • Support quarterly EAC process

  • Prepare accurate bookings, sales, material, staffing, profit and cash forecasts

  • Generation of weekly/monthly labor and material financial reports

  • Prepare charts and present financial data at weekly Program Performance Reviews

  • Support unbilled collection analysis and activities for the business

  • Support CAMs by providing information such as program actuals or expenditure profiles

    Required Skills:

  • Typically 2+ years related finance experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent written and verbal skills including demonstrated ability to succinctly present complex information

  • Thorough critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Must be flexible and able to manage a wide range of work assignments

  • Ability to work with minimal direct supervision as well as part of a team, accountability and self-driven

    Desired Skills:

  • Experienced with financial systems including SAP, Business Warehouse, PRISM and PMX

  • Experience with Business Planning Systems (RPlan)

  • Understanding of financial and accounting policies and procedures

  • Ability to manage time and prioritize workload

  • Ability to work through problems with minimal supervision

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize concurrent requirements and accommodate numerous stakeholders

  • Highly motivated team member with a positive attitude

    Required Education (including Major):

  • BS / BA in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics or related field from an accredited university

    Come join the Airborne Information Operations (AIO) Product Line within the EWS Business Unit in Raytheon Intelligence & Space. This position will require working on a program team in direct support of Program Business Management requirements. The candidate must be able to work in a fast pace environment and adapt quickly to changing requirements. The ability to learn processes quickly and apply knowledge to unique situations will be critical to performing successfully in the position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support proposal cost and price estimating as needed

  • Prepare Gate 5 Budgets, baselines and monitor progress and report variances

  • Support contracts by providing information for customer inquiries such as program actuals or expenditure profiles

    Required Skills:

  • Typically 2+ years related finance experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent written and verbal skills including demonstrated ability to succinctly present complex information

  • Thorough critical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Must be flexible and able to manage a wide range of work assignments

  • Ability to work with minimal direct supervision as well as part of a team, accountability and self-driven
