The Advocacy Integrator is responsible for working with RMD Mission Area Product Area Directors (PAD), RMD Capabilities and Solutions R&C leaders and Corporate Government Relations (GR) to develop a synchronized strategy and execution plan on how our various capabilities and solutions meet customer requirements and advocacy strategies. This includes identifying which capabilities to use in an integrated fashion and partnering with PADS and GR to provide focus on how and when we influence the U.S. Congress and Executive branch to advocate on our behalf. This role is a liaison between PADS, RMD R&C and Corporate Government Relations and brings RMD product and systems acumen to the table. This role will also be responsible for developing and implementing a coordinated plan leveraging engineering, supply chain, communications, third party advocacy and corporate government relations. This position will have a team of integrators representing each MA with matrix reporting to the respective RMD C&S leader.
Develop and coordinate a detailed advocacy plan leveraging clearly identified capabilities while focused on specific outcomes.
Ensure detailed advocacy plan includes all stakeholders in a properly sequenced timing and engagement schedule.
Coordinate with MA PAD’s, R&C C&S, and GR regarding the development and visualization of advocacy plans.
Understand Federal Budget process including authorization and appropriation of funds.
Shape and promote advocacy plan communications to RMD LT and functional teams.
Execute work relationships with functional stakeholders including CM’s, PM’s, Supply Chain and Communications.
14 + year’s work experience
Experience with DoD Agencies and/or defense contractors
Experience with systems of system solutions
Experience presenting master integration plans to senior leadership
Experience maintaining master schedules with visible status
Current Secret Clearance (DoD)
United States Citizenship
Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), Business or related field
Ability to manage multiple projects and work within a fast-paced environment
Experience with Raytheon gate process
Network and build relationships at all levels of the organization
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Superior communication, writing, editing and organizational skills
Self-motivated and able to work effectively with both internal and external customers
Possesses a sense of urgency and pride in quality deliverables
Ability to think and execute both tactically and strategically and contribute daily as a member of a diverse team
Demonstrated experience and relationship building capabilities for growing both internal and external relationships
MBA with prior experience in Government Relations and/or Communications.
