Raytheon Technologies Cyber Data Analyst in West Falls Church, Virginia
This position is CONTINGENT upon funding, an open position, customer approval, completion of a favorable background investigation, and the ability to obtain and maintain a USPS sensitive clearance.
An experienced Cyber Data Analyst is needed to support the CERT RMM Monitoring (MON) and Measurement and Analysis (MA) Process Areas program at our customer’s site in Morrisville, NC. (Our customer will consider candidates working out of their Falls Church, Virginia location.)
The purpose of the MON and MA Process Area Teams is based on the CERT Resilience Management Model (RMM) and begins with collecting all monitoring requirements from the CISO stakeholders or tools, and ensures the requirements are frequently reviewed, validated, and consolidated into the main reporting repository.
Job location: Falls Church, VA with expectation of occasional travel to Morrisville NC
Hours: 8am-5pm M-F (with some adjustments as event schedules require)
Job Responsibilities:
The candidate will hold strong skills with written and oral communication, collaboration, and strategy development
Working knowledge of the CERT RMM and specifically MON and MA process areas (Similar to CMMI model Measurement and Analysis)
With the assistance of a team member, the candidate will facilitate, track and coordinate the roadmap activities of Monitoring (MON) and Measurement & Analysis (MA) for the customer through (but not limited to) the following activities:
Instantiation and ongoing maintenance of the RMM Monitoring (MON) Process Area
Operationalize the MON Process practices used to establish CISO requirements
Collecting monitoring requirements from stakeholders or tools
Ensures the requirements are adequately refreshed and reviewed
Instantiation and ongoing maintenance of Monitoring and Measurement & Analysis-related improvement recommendations
Writes, gathers and submits evidence of activities via pre-defined reporting templates
Daily duties will include refining requirements of the stakeholders, identifying infrastructure and gaps, specifying measurements and analysis procedures, collecting and recording information from various sources, analyzing measurement data, and distributing information
You will be responsible for maintaining process area maturity through regular reviews of process area documentation, continual updating of reporting matrices, databases, and metrics, and all tasks relating to how the process area plan defines the scope of work to be performed
These process areas (MON & MA) work very closely with other RMM programs such as Incident Management and Control, Vulnerability Analysis and Resolution, Risk Management, and some other CISO RMM process areas.
The MON/MA program area is responsible for instantiating the Monitoring and Measurement & Analysis RMM (Resilience Management Model) processes along with instantiating identified recommendations within the area
This resource will be working with the CSOC Center of Excellence Evolution Team- that oversees, evaluates, and supports documentation, validation and accreditation processes necessary to capture all monitoring requirements from CISO stakeholders or tools, and ensures the requirements are frequently reviewed
Required Skills:
Excellent technical writing skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Must have the ability to work independently, manage, plan and execute high quality deliverables with minimal oversight
Strong organizational skills
Experience and/or skillset to fulfill the responsibilities identified above
Must be eligible to obtain a sensitive clearance – Position of Public Trust – and may be required to obtain a higher security clearance.
6+ years related work experience and a Bachelor's degree for G09

Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
Two years of related work experience may be substituted for each year of degree level education.
Desired Certifications:
Security +, ITIL, PMP or similar professional certification
