Be the face, the voice and the thought leader for the development of advanced, next generation ISR and Space Solutions throughout Collin’s and RTX’s customer base. Own all aspects of advanced/next generation ISR pursuits; from ideation to technology incubation, through contract award and negotiations, all while developing and deepening relationships and strengthening Collin’s customer affinity within targeted communities of interest.

The business is based in Westford, MA and open to remote working.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic vision and experience-derived leadership across multifunctional integrated product teams developing the future of integrated ISR&T solutions, while maintaining the team’s focus on competitive business capture.

•Represent the ISR&S business to the JADC2 Experimentation & Demonstration team, the ABMS Coordination Team (CT) and Collin’s Aerospace Advanced Technologies Council;

•Provide subject matter expertise (SME), market and product/technology updates - throughout the organization - relating to multi- domain, joint and coalition ISR operations, Command and Control, All Domain Battle Management in support of both DoD and global warfighting initiatives.

•Contribute to strategy development and policy deployment within the ISRS business to shape the way we pursue and capture new business in the advanced ISR&T and JADC2 markets.

•Develop relationships with a wide array of communities (government, military, academic and FFRDCs) and leverage past-experience/contacts to enable the Collins team to validate strategic approaches and technical solutions.

•Drive change in both process and culture as we reshape our approach to solving complex and challenging problems in ways that grow our products, or business and our people.

•Perform current budget and future market analysis to develop forecasts, action plans and strategies for long-term, domestic and international business development initiatives

•Develop, present and articulate compelling business growth opportunities that include market and competitive analysis, and price to win strategies via decision point reviews

•Continually explore the environment for business and strategic growth opportunities

•Prepare and support company profiles on competitors and potential acquisition candidates, including financial analyses, as well as Strategic Financial Plans and Annual Operations Planning

•Bring vast experience and professional networks with senior internal and external personnel in areas of expertise

•Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on matters often requiring coordination between organizations

•Function with minimal supervision on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments

•Willing to travel 25% primarily domestic, some international as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience OR

  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required

  • Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in DoD/IC ISR&T acquisitions, requirements development, strategy communities.

•Expertise in new and emerging DoD/IC business/acquisitions processes and policies HIGHLY DESIRED.

•Significant background and strong relationships in the military/IC S&T and advanced systems communities (AFRL/ONR/DARPA/IARPA, etc.)

•Strong background in ISR technologies development, integration and fielding, including emergent modeling and simulation and digital engineering initiatives.

•Professional verbal and writing, presentation skills mandatory.

•Senior staff (GO/FO/SES) experience a plus.

•Passion to lead and grow the business.

•Demonstrated experience in in Microsoft Office products and/or SalesForce CRM tool.
