This role is for an experienced Supervisor that will manage the execution of Quality Assurance objectives. May lead a team of entry to intermediate level Quality Assurance professionals. Sets day-to-day objectives for the achievement of immediate Quality Assurance goals and supervises completion.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the quality technical team in ensuring product and process compliance by providing guidance and direction with regards to quality systems and requirements.

  • Foster and maintain a cooperative relationship with our key customers.

  • Drive product and process improvements that ensure quality metric goals are met (Escapes, Scrap, Rework and Process Cert).

  • Oversee the Quality Clinic activity including escape investigations and customer returns.

  • Manage and prioritize substantial and diverse workload and changing priorities.

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement through the use of ACE tools (Standard Work, DIVE, proofing, etc.) to implement change.

  • Lead the implementation of new inspection technologies that achieve process, reliability and productivity improvements.

  • Attract, develop and mentor diverse talent in the quality technical discipline.

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • An understanding of Aerospace Quality Procedures, Quality Management Systems, AS9100 and Regulatory Agency Requirements.

  • Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management and external customers.

  • Experience in using Continuous Improvement/Lean tools to make process improvements in a manufacturing environment.

  • Prior Supervisory experience is preferred.
