The 2nd Shift Supervisor – Windsor Locks Aftermarket Distribution Center, is responsible for the receiving, storage, inventory management and fulfillment of military and commercial hardware. The Supervisor supports the distribution center activities and leads a team of bargaining unit employees to achieve daily and monthly performance metrics. The Supervisor sets day-to-day goals, working with their team to drive results while meeting our customers’ requirements.

Essential on-site role located in the Windsor Locks, CT facility.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Military and Commercial shipping process in the Distribution Center.

  • Ensure all material is processed efficiently during the pick pack ship process.

  • Train direct reports to ensure policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed.

  • Assign daily work to employees and ensure workload is completed in a timely manner according to customer expectations

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR

  • In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Supervisory experience in a union environment

  • SAP Experience

  • Microsoft Office experience
