Plan, perform and verify the testing of components, products, and the fabrication, calibration, and maintenance of test rigs and instrumentation while complying with environmental, health and safety directions and procedures.


  • Plan and perform a variety of electrical, electro-mechanical and electronic functional test operations.

  • Troubleshoot and perform simple rework (Soldering and mechanical). Disassemble units as required.

  • Plan operational method and setup in order to carry out calibration of shop instrumentation and standards.

  • Plan and carry out the building and fabrication of test equipment and fixtures installing and wiring together various components, units,

  • Perform maintenance and minor repair of test equipment and test rigs.

  • Able to use DVM, Oscilloscopes and general test equipment

  • Able to Solder components to PC boards.

  • Understand what Logic Analyzer is used for

  • General knowledge of EMI

  • Able to fabricate test harnesses to aerospace grounding/shielding methods

  • Able to fabricate test rig sub-sections from engineering drawings. this includes wiring power supply racks, relays, etc.

  • Able to fabricate simple custom PC boards from schematics

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years related experience

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fabricate Test Rigs and associated Sub-Systems.

  • Aerospace Harness Fabricating.

  • Aerospace J-Std for Soldering Components.

  • Troubleshooting Electronic Systems using Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, and advance Electronics test equipment.

  • Familiar with EMI Testing Methods, Military and Commercial Aircraft.

  • Familiar with Thermal Test Chambers.
