The Collins Aerospace Co-op is one of the cornerstones of the company's high education recruiting strategy. Students hired into this program represent our pipeline of talent - our future executives! This program provides an opportunity for a short-term, full-time work assignment for students pursuing degree programs directly related to our core business.
This co-op/internship is for a graduate student seeking a longer duration internship, preferably starting as soon as possible. A formal agreement is not required with the student's school. The company's goal is to relate employment opportunities to the student's academic studies and enhance the student's academic training, practical experience, professional growth, and personal development.
Our co-op/internship position will assist the Operations and Quality Human Resources team with numerous initiatives related to Human Resources and provide a realistic job preview of the HR Generalist role. The role will also provide ownership and exposure to special projects with longer-term impact to the business, providing the student insight into different levels of the organization and various HR specialties such as talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits, employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, compensation analytics, and more.
An ideal candidate will be able to work full-time depending on school schedule or school year breaks. The Co-op will be involved in supporting the Ops & Quality organizations.
• Working directly with senior managers and HR leadership to support their organizational needs
• Managing requests from Collins/RTX Corporate and assisting with various needs
• Compensation analysis, salary planning, and incentive pay coordination
• Gathering diversity metrics and conducting analysis on data
• Supporting the Quality Engineering rotational program, Q-LEAD
• Supporting the Quality Engineering internship program, Q-Apprentice
• Supporting the Operations Modernization rotational program, PrIME
• Active involvement with the Quality Engagement and Inclusion Team (QEIT)
• Launch & support of PrIME rotational program (Manufacturing/Industrial Engrg)
• Participating in and driving forward Diversity & Inclusion activities and initiatives
• Play an active role in Ops & Quality talent initiatives and leadership development
• Assist managing the Quality Mentorship Program and other various mentorship initiatives

Sophomore standing or higher in an accredited university
A GPA of 3.0 or higher
Enrolled in a Master's Degree in a technical field such as, but not limited to:
