Job Summary

This position is for a seasoned SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Manager . The ideal candidate will be part of Collins Aerospace Interiors team responsible for the implementation of SAP/GTS at several of our Interiors’ sites. They will have experience with 1 full life cycle implementation and be familiar with both export and import regulations and relevant GTS modules. This position will be fully remote.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Organize and conduct presentation of our portfolio of products, services and capabilities to current and prospective customers and effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.

  • Supporting project management activities and blueprinting requirements for SAP GTS implementations

  • Capturing and reviewing requirements with related counterparts (other works streams and subject matter experts)

  • Training and documenting all related processes for compliance management

  • Communicate effectively with all levels of external customer management and teams, for both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Develop, build and maintaining professional business relationships and networks within the assigned Region and portfolio sector, creating strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

  • Analyze markets, e.g., size, location, trends, etc. Understand category-specific landscapes and trends

  • Contribute to the general brand awareness and promotion

  • Develop a working knowledge of relevant industry and peer activity

  • Assist with business forecasting and planning and communicate the impact of operational initiatives from a sales or marketing person’s perspective’

  • Liaise with team in the UK, USA and Worldwide.

    Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and 8+ years of relevant experience OR

  • Advanced degree from an accredited university in a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience OR

  • In the absence of a degree, 12+ years of relevant experience is required.

  • 3+ years of Knowledge and expertise in the configuration of SAP GTS modules of Compliance, Customs and Risk Management.

  • Familiarity in supporting project management activities and blueprinting requirements for SAP GTS implementations.

  • Working knowledge in capturing and reviewing requirements with related counterparts (other works streams and subject matter experts)

  • 2+ years of experience in training and documenting SAP/GTS related processes for compliance management

​ Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree Preferred

  • Hands on experience SAP GTS modules including Customs Management, Compliance Management processes covering processes for compliance controls, export control, Customs Forms, Goods Embargo check, Etc.

  • Good Analytical and Communications skills

  • Knowledge and expertise in the configuration of SAP GTS modules of Compliance, Customs and Risk Management

  • Experience in configuring GTS Compliance for multiple legal regulations and GTS Customs for multiple HTS schemes and customs regulations. Familiarity with GTS Compliance checks for Sanctioned Parties Lists, Embargoed countries, and export license determination

  • Knowledge and experience with implementing customs management communication (ex: US AES filing, ATLAS and or AGS) using GTS

  • Knowledge and experience with implementing FTZ (Foreign trade zone)

  • Knowledge and experience with the GTS Customs Declaration process and customs compliance screening is preferred.

  • Knowledge of the key integration points between ECC and GTS

  • Experience to include work on cross-functional teams tasked with implementing system changes as per user requirements.

  • Experience in working with BI reports.

  • Experience in participating and supporting integration testing cycle and ability to drive defect resolution for any problem identified

  • Delivery and support end user training

  • Excellent communication skills and be an effective team player in a global company.

  • Ability to work independently supporting multiple teams and develop solutions to meet all parties’ requirements

  • Identifying, Documenting, and testing new scenarios

  • Proven project management skills
