B/E Aerospace, Inc. d/b/a Collins Aerospace is looking for a Manager, Quality Assurance in Winston-Salem, NC.
Domestic travel once per month is required to support installation at OEM sites, including travel to South Carolina, Alabama and Washington State.

Ensure that the quality of suppliers, products and processes are compliant with internal and regulatory standards and are continuously improving.
Develop and implement program quality plans and procedures.
Manage the execution of Quality Assurance operational plans.
May lead a team of primarily intermediate to experienced Quality Assurance professionals or a team responsible for Quality Assurance for a smaller organization.
Set objectives and guides team on the achievement of short-term Quality Assurance goals.
Manage the implementation for Quality Assurance plans and procedures.
Manage plans, guidelines, policies and processes, to ensure the achievement of quality targets.
Manage implementation of organization projects and processes to ensure overall quality is continuously improving.
Manage quality improvement processes to ensure on-going reductions in Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and escapes.
Manage the collection and analysis of quality information from multiple sources for use in developing long-term quality strategy and programs.
Manage production process analyses, ensuring quality standards are met and making recommendations for quality improvement.
At least a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Design Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field and at least 5 years of progressive experience in Quality Engineering. In the alternative, at least a master’s degree or its equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Design Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field and at least 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering would be acceptable.
At least 3 years of experience with leading a diverse team of engineers in the production environment.
