Perform final inspections on completed work before it is approved for return to service. (Repair Station Only)
Ensure that hourly associates obtain appropriate training to maintain the correct knowledge in all regulations, procedures, and processes.
Assist and participate as required with all FAA, airline, AS9100, and other audits.
Assist in the creation, implementation and maintenance of procedures as required in support of product or process improvement initiatives.
Research and develop new manufacturing techniques and/or tooling to improve throughput, reduce scrap/rework, improve product quality.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality teams to determine best manufacturing process design.
Provide guidance and training to hourly associates.
Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with approved data and conforms to all quality standards and specifications.
Maintain appropriate documentation for all work in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.
Work with hourly associates to help meet Customer contractual deadlines (i.e. turn-around time).
Perform other related duties as required.
This position requires an HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 6 years of relevant experience is required.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Background in Aerospace and/or Aviation
