Our Systems Integration & Test directorate has an opportunity for a Lab Manager supporting Missile Defense Programs in Woburn, MA. In this role you will work closely with all levels of Leadership in multiple organizations including executive leaders, Program Managers, SME’s, IPT Leads, and Chief Engineers. You must be able to collaborate with customers, employees, and senior leaders when implementing process, procedural changes and personnel access. In addition to leading and managing the implementation of key Engineering Lab Council strategic projects and day-to-day operation requirements within multiple Engineering Labs, you will also be managing a small team of 2 – 3. You will have particular focus on compliance, improvement efforts and bring a high situational awareness, strong emotional intelligence, and ability to effectively work multiple projects simultaneously with diverse groups and customers.
- Responsible for safeguarding of classified/proprietary material, hardware and documentation
Assist developing mid to long-range objectives and strategic plans for their functional department to include program goals
Act as a liaison between Security and the Program in the administration of security requirements and procedures.
Create DD1149 forms for shipping equipment.
Support closed area re-configurations and expansions.
Disseminate notices, training and other information from Security, including current weekly notifications.
Lead audit/assessment preparation and support; Security, FOE/FOD, AS9100, 6S and VPP; develop corrective action plans.
Complete monthly above-ceiling checks: Inspect Areas Above False Ceilings (tiles) for signs of wall penetration, evident changes, etc.
Ensure proper visitor/escort procedures are followed in accordance with the Closed Area SOP Manage room access.
Provide instruction on requesting room access.
Notify Security for changes, including additions, deletions, name changes, arming and disarming privileges.
Coordinate dissemination of new spin-lock combinations.
Maintain documented room configuration.
Ensure open/close and end of day procedures are established, documented, and followed
Inspect, disable capabilities as needed, and place approval stickers on all unclassified Raytheon-provided laptops used in the closed area.
Assist with Safety awareness and hazard mitigation.
Coordinate and disseminate information regarding planned Information System downtime.
Provide informal orientation training to people new to the Access list.
Coordinate housekeeping access and room cleaning.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience working and/or supporting functional management and program leadership within a professional organization and have a breadth of knowledge in regards to maintaining compliance.
Demonstrated experience working in or maintaining closed areas.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of their process area and to continually focus on improving processes and efficiency.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
Effective professional written/oral communication and interpersonal relations skills.
Active DoD Secret clearance
NISPOM & JFAN expertise
Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
