The Missile Defense Radar Software Department’s mission is to provide world class Missile Defense and Surveillance Radar Software to be used in radar systems deployed on land and sea. Our software teams employ an Agile Scrum process to rapidly design, code, and integrate capabilities on a continuous basis into a mature solution for our customers. As a Software Engineering Metrics Analyst, your mission will be to guide and assist program and team to plan and execute program work to achieve on-cost and on-schedule performance using the Raytheon Earned Value Management System (EVMS). Our software teams employ an Agile software development methodology to rapidly design, code, integrate and test capabilities on a continuous basis into a mature solution for our customers. You will align the incremental development methods of the team to earned value management requirements to achieve compliant, effective and predictable program management.
An advanced degree in a related field can be substituted for an additional 2 years of experience. This position can be filled in Woburn MA or full time remote.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Guide and assist Program IPT in setting up and executing earned value management system on one or more radar software product line programs.
Prepare the program earned value baseline; develop and update the integrated master schedule; perform quarterly rolling wave planning, monthly earned value status submission, monthly latest revised estimate (LRE), monthly variance analysis and quarterly estimate at complete (EAC). Coordinate as needed with program Finance on all these tasks.
Guide and mentor team product owners in planning and executing earned value management for the features being worked by the team.
Assist product owners with implementing monthly LREs and quarterly EACs.
Setup and maintain various Microsoft Excel-based tools used for program earned value management
Qualifications You Must Have:
Education: BS or BA degree in a STEM degree including Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or related
5+ plus years’ development experience in Software Engineering or Systems Engineering
Experience with Agile development method
The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Value:
EVMS certified/ Capable of becoming EVMS certified within 6 months
Experience implementing Agile EVMS
3 plus years’ experience with Microsoft Excel
Experience setting up MS Excel pivot tables
Experience with Visual Basis for MS Excel
Software development experience in a DoD environment
Experience in Agile development methods
Familiarity with Rational Team Concert
