Job Summary:

The Missile Defense Radar Software Department Section Leader will reside in the Missile Defense Center (MDC) in Woburn, MA, and will provide guidance, leadership and management to a section of 15 to 20 Engineers. The candidate will act as a key leader and mentor in the department, employing their leadership, presence and influence skills, and fostering team work and interdependent execution.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

The Section Leader will participate in employee goal setting and career development, performance reviews, department rating sessions, interviewing new candidates, and provide recommendations for staff promotions. The successful candidate will participate in a technical/lead role on our software development programs.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • 8+ years’ experience in technical software design and development on defense software development programs

  • Experience in software development using C, C++, or Ada

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math or related engineering/science discipline

  • Ability to obtain a Secret or above security clearance

  • US Citizenship is required
