Position is contingent upon request for firm pricing from an international customer
Raytheon Missiles and Defense (RMD) has an exciting opportunity within its Air Power (AP) Mission Area (MA) related to competitive sales of its Skywave Over the Horizon Radar across a diverse international customer set. In this role, the successful candidate will be a key member of the International Skywave capture team which is responsible for the near term growth of this franchise. The position is well suited for a highly motivated individual who understands and appreciates the nuances of contracting internationally.
The selected candidate must be able to represent Raytheon, with limited supervision, on significant international transactions, advise management on contractual rights/obligations and mitigate contractual/program risks. Therefore, contracts expertise, excellent communication skills, international business acumen, customer management and team building skills are essential.
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance within one year

Shaping business transactions and negotiating skillfully to create win/win solutions which will enable flawless program execution
Ensuring that proposed and negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies and guidelines.

Taking ownership of issues and using knowledge of situational dynamics to establish personal engagement strategy.
Effective reach-back capability to leverage the greater Contracts organization as needed, including coordination with other business areas.
10 years of applicable work experience in Contracts, Subcontracts, Supply Chain, Legal, EXIM, Program Management or similar Field
BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Management, Contract Administration, Supply Chain Management, International Relations, Economics, Business Law or any major related to this job description
Experience negotiating contract terms, conditions, and change management for direct commercial sale and/or US Government contracts
Experience researching complex issues, applicable regulations and law, and formulating recommendations to management
Must be comfortable and effective working in a team environment
Ability and willingness to travel internationally
U.S. Citizenship is required
Demonstrated experience leading complex international negotiations, including offset requirements, and managing customer expectations
Demonstrated ability to develop advanced concepts and solutions to unusual problems that involve a high degree of ingenuity, creativity and innovation
Defense industry experience or experience in companies that bring technology products to market in a heavy regulated industry
Collaborative and influential decision maker
Demonstrates savvy, sensitivity and passion to build and maintain positive relationships and achieve results
Ability to multitask and manage workload to meet deliverables on time and accurately
NCMA CFCM or other professional certification
