Job Summary :
System Administrators located in Woburn, MA collaborate with a diverse team to support fast-paced, critical programs with classified information system capabilities. Success in this role means you are able to develop, implement and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments across various classified programs. Program teams rely on your collaboration and guidance to define computing requirements and create end-to-end solutions to solve complex IT infrastructure problems.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Maintain RMF Security Compliance Standards, to include System Patching, Antivirus Updates, and Audit Collection
Assure system reliability and performance through monitoring and infrastructure management
Provide system administration and maintenance support on Windows, Linux, and UNIX-based environments in client/server, network and data storage capacities
Respond to online service requests from users
Ensure server and application compliance with security and performance requirements (NISPOM, RMF, DFARS)
Convert and upgrade to new systems
Develop and maintain technical and operational documentation to continually improve our computing environments
Engage in knowledge sharing to further develop the overall capability and performance of your technical team
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor degree and 2+ years of directly related experience or in lieu of a degree additional 4 years of directly related additional experience is required for a total of 6 years is required
Experience with Linux Architecture
2+ years of experience with Linux/Windows operating systems
Experience with Active Directory and group policy management
Experience with Data storage and data backup technologies
Experience with Virtual computing technologies
Experience with thin client technologies
Experience with Networking knowledge
An active and in-scope Secret US security clearance is required, U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Must be able to travel up to 10%
Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification and an Operating System Certification
Direct working experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF
Ability to collaborate effectively
Basic Windows Scripting experience
Basic to Moderate Linux/Unix Scripting experience
