Collins Aerospace, part of Raytheon Technologies, is on the lookout for an experienced HR Business Partner to join the team.

As HR Business Partner, you will be responsible for delivering transformational HR for the areas you support. You will provide a consultative approach to scope and influence the HR agenda, with sound management advice and guidance to support teams in world class service delivery and a high performing culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Effectively deliver on multiple HR processes, including talent management, recruitment, performance & development management, employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, and total rewards.

  • Support Leaders in developing succession and development plans and work pro-actively to ensure that we have a talent pool available within the business.

  • Working with the resourcing team to actively support the recruitment for all role levels within the functions, to ensure a consistent level of high-calibre candidates are recruited for the right roles at the right time.

  • Support and implement learning and development-based activity to equip employees with the necessary skills and learning.

  • Drive culture development within the businesses with a focus on employee engagement.

  • Lead the Early Year Careers strategy and ensure a robust pipeline of young talent.

  • Maintain appropriate systems for monitoring, measuring and reporting on HR activities within agreed formats and timescales

  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment compliance requirements through appropriate program and process management

  • Champion HR Transformation by partnering with Global People Services and ER Partners to deliver a streamlined HR service to the business and employees

  • Actively lead and participate with ad hoc projects throughout the year

  • Support local HR Transactional activity with a focus on driving efficiency and Continuous Improvement.


  • Demonstrated experience as a HR Business Partner in similar organisations

  • Adept at building strong relationships with all levels of the organisation

  • Excellent coaching, facilitation and conflict resolution skills

  • Proven customer focused experience and excellent business judgment

  • CIPD (or equivalent) qualification preferred
